Morocco Passes On AFCON Baton To Uganda, Kenya & Tanzania 2027

With the curtains officially coming down at the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco, all cameras now tune their lenses on East Africa in the wake of the upcoming PAMOJA 2027 edition.

NCS GS Dr Ogwel Outlines African Sports Strategy At Djibouti Meet

Uganda has been represented at the African Union conference on sustainable sports development by the National Council of Sports (NCS) General Secretary Dr Bernard Patrick Ogwel.
The two-day African Union Commission workshop on the popularisation of the AU political framework for sports development, has been held in Djibouti in the horn of Africa, and has been attended by Directors of Sports from the 24 countries in the African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Development Region 4.
The workshop has also aimed at strengthening cooperation among AU member states.
