Mrs. Agatha Namirembe Arembe

Mrs. Namirembe Agatha Arembe is a chemist by profession and holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Makerere University after 6 years of secondary school at Trinity College Nabbingo.
She also holds a postgraduate diploma in public administration and management fom Uganda Management Institute (UMI). Several other certificates in occupational safety and health, negotiation skills, human character analysis and handling different characters, human rights and a trained adult educator.
Mrs. Arembe currently works with National Water and Sewerage Corporation as Manager, Occupational safety, health and environment, where she has also served in different capacities for the last 28 years. She is a human and workers rights advocate, Chairperson Uganda Public Employee's Union (UPEU), a body that defends, protects, negotiates, lobbies and advocates for workers rights.
Due to her love for football, she got married into a football family, her husband and his brothers are former football players, most recognized was the late Timothy Ayekoh. She has been involved in sports management in Maji FC now Water FC as adviser.
Mrs. Arembe has played table tennis, badminton and have been involved in swimming and marathons right from school. Basketball and Rugby are among my favorite sports with all 3 of my sons rugby players in the national clubs.
Ms. Arembe brings management skills and experience having served on the National Immigration and Citizenship Board and the Nakawa Vocational training institute board.
